Draft at the brewery. Pours a pitch black color with a small beige head and great retention with some ruby highlights. Like the other beers, it's hard to believe there's no aroma. Clean and smooth and roasted. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. You can definitely taste the lactose sweetness. It's very good. Light body and light carbonation. No bitterness. Extremely drinkable.

12 oz. can from Total Wine - Naples, FL. Pours a clear dark amber color with a giant khaki head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Sweet brown sugar and honey aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet caramel malt and toffee flavors up front and just a kiss of honey in the finish. Not nutty. More of a dark ale versus a brown ale, IMHO. Really smooth and clean. Very repeatable. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Great beer.

Pretty nice trip. Florals and light lemon. Some orange. Clove. Golden pour with decent head. Light sweet finish with a little tang. Pretty well balanced. Can.
