On tap at Brave, pours a clear copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty restrained and muted, with some earthy hops and dull bready malt. Flavour unfortunately matches, with dull earthy hops and dry bready malt. Not much fresh hop expression, nor is it reminiscent of a west coast IPA. Poor ingredients? Poor fermentation? Poor balance? Probably the latter two at least.

On tap at Brave, pours an opaque milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of chalk and hopburn, with lots of rough grittiness coming off — ugh. Flavour has the same problems, with rough hopburn, some chalkiness, and gritty citrus hops that are very buried. Rough and clumsy. Not as egregious as some hazies, but then there's nothing really pleasant about this either.

On tap at Brave, pours a clear pale yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty muted and neutral, with light grassiness detectable. Flavour is not much more characterful, with light grassy hops and straw. Under-hopped but it's at least clean. Meh.

On tap at Brave, pours a clear pale dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grainy notes, straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is clean and crisp, with straw, grainy notes and biscuity malt. Nice grainy, straw-like finish. Pleasant for a pale lager.

On tap at Steamworks - Mount Pleasant, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out citrus, lacto, sweet tropical notes and a touch of pomegranate. Flavour is much the same, with citrus, lacto and a little pomegranate. Cheap kettle sour but sweet and citrusy. Decent.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with white head. Crisp biscuit malt with light grass hopping. A touch of metallic notes on the nose. Okay.

Gold, white head. Lightly tart odd palate, with light hop bitterness in finish. Light malt in back. Great lacing

Poured from the tap. Hazy yellow with small white head. Mild citrus hops, mild yeast. Timid, but I suppose it’s aptly named as a safe option for a first date with a non-beer person.

Poured from the tap. Hazed yellow with small white head. Lighter bodied, tons of esters, unbalanced. Meh.
