Pours clear ruby-tinged amber into a stein. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Dark caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and raisins upfront turning to mildl sourdough in the medium length finish.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before August 2017, courtesy of Koelschtrinker, thanks Roman! Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel and some red fruits. Moderately sweet, malty taste of caramel, molasses and some red fruits, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Simple, monotonous but pleasant Bock.

33cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. aroma of medium sweet pale malt, grains, flowers. Taste of sweet grainy malt, flowers, straw, mild bitterness. Boring!

500 ml purchased at Middleton Beer and Wine, Middleton, MA. Color is an unclear golden with full white head. Aroma is yeasty, mild malty breath yeast. Light yeast.
Has a nicely creamy mouthfeel, medium sweetness, some fruits and malt. No bitterness at all. Rather well balance of yeast and malt. Old school.

Bottle. Best before Oct 31, 17 on back label. Classic to the style in every regard. Proper glassware shows a hazy golden color with a solid amount of carbonation. Aroma is the banana, clove, and wheat that comes from a pure German yeast strain.
I know that this style beer doesn’t get much love but... It is spot on the style and drinks easy. Lightly sweet flavor. The banana, light clove/yeasty body and bubble gum are balanced. The finish has a slightly dry texture. My fresh bottle treated me well.

Deep dark brown colour, small frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, light caramel, liquorice. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate; malty sweetbitter finish, chocolate, light fruity and spicy notes. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, very nice smooth porter.

0.33l bottle from marktkauf in weil. pours a cloudy dark mahogany with a small off-white head. aroma of blueberry muffin, raisins, chocolate, actually quite fruity. flavour of coffee, sour cherries, citrus. light, roasty and slightly sour finish.
