Bottle at coal tippel. Slight pleasant tart lemony nose. Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Starts off friendly light tangy sweet and tasty. Nothing artificial here. The lemon immediately fades into the background. A little tart on the finish, really smooth. Great stuff! NICE! Really fun mead experience. Nice job CT! Such a nifty sipper ;~) Ends with a mild waxy feel reminiscent of ice cider.

Had this on the way back from the BSA rally. A darker pale beer with hints of reddish orange. First taste is a decent rodenbach thing but a little thin. Yes, general mild red beer at first then a bit of tartness seeps thru. Not quite as tart as a flemmish but not dab. Quaffable.

Bottle. Darker red orange. Sweet fruity honey aroma. Flat. Taste is quite boozy. Somewhat smooth and fruity up front. A little waxy in teh end. One of the better meads form coal tipple.

Honey nose. Smooth initial palate. Honey is prominent. Quite civilized. Not bad. Civilized with a tad of bite on the finish.

Orangish ice tea color. A little medicinal up front. There is pumpkin spice, but its not overdone like so many other pumpkin beers. Not over the top, pleasantly balanced. A little bit of astringent bite in the finish.

Tap. Big & black. Has an initial flavor of cola in the background, surprising. Burned damp wood backbone. Some welcomed co2. Fairly light on the palate. A tad astringent on the finish.

Cloudy pale. First smell is honey, yum. Taste is so good, so friendly so smooth. Yes, mouth coating yummy goodness. Better than most watered down local meads fer sher. Thanks for such a well made mead, much like the straight up meads from the old country. I want to lick the glass when its gone! I’m developing a new appreciation for meads. If you are in the area, stop by and get a small bottle of this yummy stuff.

Tap source. Nice glowing yellow color. Good beery nose. First taste is; yes, lime, but its not in yer face. This is a blonde with a hint of lime and this is not even a wheat ale, its much more civilized than that. Good stuff, pretty nice. Easy to drink and easy to appreciate. Refreshing, nice job.

Pinkish red, nice look. Smells so good, like raspberry jam jelly. Taste is certainly fresh raspberries. Lovely, easy, fun. You’d never know this was 12%, goes down way too easy. I really liked this brew, yummy. Smooth finish, great overall tasting experience.

Very strong astringent bitterness. Color is orangish. Quite bitter. Perhaps a little sharper than most IPA. IF you like IPA, give this a try and ignore my numbers, I’m not a fan of the style. Slight off aroma, somewhat like noble hops in a green bottle.
