It was for me a good surprise, a solid pale ale or ipa, classical and well balanced, dry malt, resinous, a bjt sweet, floral and aromatic hops, bitter and citrus with body and well balanced, a proof that the German can brew beers on the American way, 07.06.23

A hazy dark golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of mild sweet pale malt, grains, yeast. Taste of belgian yeast, sweet pale malt, grains, mild bitterness.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 05.05.2026) im 2025-06 getrunken. Manchmal wird man belohnt wenn man mutig ist und ein vermmeitlich spannendes Bier kauf. Aber manchmal auch nicht! Das hier geht direkt nach dem 1.Schluck in den Ausguß. Ein Bockbier kann je echt toll werden, aber wenn es schwer bitter gehopft ist und hat dann noch vom Laphroaig BA eine sehr kräftige Rauchnote bekommen, dann hilft auch nicht mehr die feine Grapefruit-Note und leichte Bockbier-Süsse.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 03.08.2025) im 2025-06 getrunken. Dieses gehopfte Ale kommt mit einer guten Balance an Bitterkeit und Citrusfrucht daher. Schön das man in der Preiskategorie eine solche gute Qualität in Glas bekommt.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma nocciola fine media persistenza, colore marrone/nero, al naso caffè liquirizia malto tostato leggero affumicato, in bocca caffè liquirizia malto tostato cioccolato fondente caramello, corpo medio, carbonazione fine leggera, oily, dolce con amaro moderato. Hazy, golden color and a nice white head. Nose of tropical fruits, mango and pineapple. Lite Body, fruchty and hopp, decent bitter finish, nice.
