Cloudy medium amber colour, tall creamy off-white, slowly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, banana, yeast. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, candy sugar, banana. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, sweet aftertaste with light bitterness, sugary, fruity and spicy notes, quite sweet, acceptable.

Clear deep amber brown colour, mid-sized frothy tan head, good retention, good lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, treacle, hint of coffee. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, roasted mals, dark fruits, herbal/spicy notes. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, average carbonation sweetbitter aftertaste, Malts and burnt caramel, nice dubbel.

Hazy pale amber colour, small fizzy head, disappears quickly, no lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, fudge, banana, bubblegum. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, caramel, light banana, candy sugar, cinnamon, peppery notes. Medium body, oily to sticky texture, lively carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, sugary and a bit boozy, quite decent, better than expected but an average beer.

Hazy medium amber colour, tall soapy off-white head, dissipates unevenly, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, yeast, red fruit, wet paper. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, watery, cardboard, spicy notes. Aftertaste as in taste, light body, watery texture, average carbonation, disappointing.

Bottle shared by a friend, 15 cl sample. Slight hazy copper color, medium rocky head. Aroma of lots of spicy yeast, very sweet caramel malt and a hint of butterscotch. After drinking their Pale Ale, I was already expecting that these classic styles would fit them better. Dubbels and Tripels is probably what they should stick to, as this is at least decent. It doesn’t add anything to already plenty available Dubbels and Tripels however.

Bottle thx to a friend, 15 cl sample. Slight hazy amber color with a gigantic rocky head. Aroma has a lot of sweet malt, some spicy yeasty notes and some cardboard. Slight soft bitterness, big malty sweetness and lots of carbonation. Typical example of a brewer of classic styles, that tries to catch the IPA train, but has no clue whatsoever. Horrible, simply horrible.

Bottle at home, dark red/brown beer, small head. Aroma is fruity, spices, malt. Taste is the same, bittersweet. Wow, this is even better then their dubbel, this is not overly sweet and the flavours are quite nice, almost a waste to cook with.
