Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a deep dark red. Aroma brings out dry plums and a touch of dry wild honey. Flavour is vinous, with lots of tannins, red wine and dried out honey. Tastes more like a wine. Excellent.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out orange zest, light cinnamon and dry honey. Flavour is rich, with light toffee, orange zest, cinnamon and light honey. Nice dryness, with a pleasant boozy burn. Really good.

Bottle thanks to mora2000. Pours with a deep, burgundy hued body, mild haze, nearly a slight brown tint. Good legs. Aromas are of over ripe berry, mild acid, waxy honey, slightly rotten fruit. Raisins, light pepper. Flavors are medium sweet, jammy, preserved black berry, canned fruit, jammy, raisinated, concentrated. Medium sweet, black berry, low tannin, medium-low balancing acid. Feels lowish alcohol for a mead with out a big balancing act. Medium-full bodied, black cherries, still, lightly warming.

Bottle thanks to mora2000. Pours a clear yellow hued body with convincing legs. Aromas are of grass, bleach, mild waxy honey, alcohol, light floral citrus, not much kumquat. Flavors are very thin and waxy, crayon, plastic, and grain alcohol. Watery. No body, minimal flavor. Like vodka and flat club soda with some fermented out honey. Thin bodied, still, boozy and a bit tannic, light citric acid, no kumquats.

Bottle thanks to mora2000. Pours with a clear, nearly bourbon hued body, a few scant bubbles, some gnarly legs. Aromas are of waxy honey, very floral, tart cranberry, biscuit, quite tart, mild ester. Flavors are ocean breeze cranberry cocktail. Not cloying, but slightly sweet balanced by tannin and acidity from the cranberry. Really well balanced actually. Surprising. Slightly jammy and floral. Full bodied, medium sweet. Really nice to be honest, Great balance.
