Aroma is malt, ripe apples, cooked mashed apples, cherry liqueur, brown sugar, figs, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, yeast and very faint hints of vinegar. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, apples, dried fruit, (christmas) spice and yeast.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an almost clear, pale yellow with a fizzy, quickly dissipating, white head. Discrete apple aroma. Fairly light body, dry and discrete apple flavors with a perfect carbonation level. I can’t say it has much character, but it’s incredibly easy to drink and extremely quenching. I may have doubts about the claimed 7% though. It seems quite a bit lighter. 260124

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark nutty brown with a creamy, beige head. Nose dominated by Christmas spices - but not owepowering. Underneath some brwn sugar and dark, dried fruits. Rich body, some molasses, dark dried yeast and a hint of Belgian yeast. Again Xmas spices, but not overdone. Warming alcohol finish with no real bitterness. Quite solid. 090623
