Minimally bready, wheaty malty and slightly zesty, citrusy fruity aroma, hints of white crisp bread, some lemon peel, yeasty spicy overtones with a touch of aniseed. Taste is minimally bready, wheaty malty with subtle residual sweetness, slightly citrusy fruity, slightly yeasty spicy and minimally yeasty fruity, hints of white bread crust, some old lemon, lemon peel, a touch of aniseed, banana, black pepper, bitter hoppy overtones, slight zesty bitternes and citric tartness. Dark brown colour, thin layer of foam. Quiet roasty with notes of raisins, caramel. Rather thin mouthfeel, is this 10.5%?

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with small, frothy, fading, beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly sugary, minimally toasty, caramel malty, and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of prune, raisin, fig, date. Taste is alcoholic, caramel malty and slightly yeasty fruity, slightly dry papery, hints of alcohol soaked dried fruit; bitter and warming, alcoholic finish. Oily texture, papery-dry and simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium, scattered, prickly carbonation. Very nice, fruity nose, quite alcoholic taste - not that enjoyable overall.
