Draft at Manito Tap House. dark, foggy amber, ring of soft bubbles. Aroma is yeasty, brown sugar, plums. Taste brings a subtle strength, malty, yeasty, fruity, molasses, even a little hint of banana. Lovely.

Roast and lots of coffee. Black pour with good mocha head. Light bitter end. Light vegetable matter, some bitter nut, bark. Caramel. Bittersweet finish. Creamy, velvety texture. Tap at brewery.

On tap at Bellwether, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart fruits, fermented out honey, and some dankness. Flavour is rather musty and earthy, with dank notes, maybe a trace of honey, and floral tartness. I'm not sure what to think of this. This isn't a hybrid I ever thought I'd see and it doesn't really work too well. But it's decent and fun.

On tap at Humble Abode, pours black with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with rich peanut butter and lactose-like sweetness. Flavour is rather decadent, with robust peanut butter, medium roast, and a very gentle sweetness to back. This is exactly how I want a peanut butter porter to be. Excellent.

On tap at Humble Abode, pours a hazy dark, murky maroon with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with lactose upfront, with toasted caramel malt underneath. Flavour is very sweet, bordering on cloying, with tons of lactose, with toasted caramel underneath. Intensely sweet. Too much.

On tap at Humble Abode, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, with some tropical fruits, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and vibrant, with lots of piney hops and tropical fruits, backed by biscuity malt. Beautifully balanced, bright and still assertively bitter. Excellent.
