Bottle shared by Inoven who just accidentally happened to show up with some random ticks, at Dutch Brewery Ticking Session with Sjogro. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark chocolate, coffee. Wow. That's a huge surprise! Flavor is malts, dark malts, coffee, dark chocolate, it almost seems like there's a barrel aging thing going on in there as well, bowmore characteristics, peat, iodine, roast. Imposters of a certain beer / brand?? Hmm...

Flesje gedeeld door Sjogro en gedronken met Benzai. Zwart bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Stroperig bier met aroma van chocolade en koffie. Smaak is zoet en zacht met de koffie en chocolade in de boventoon. Jammer dat de smaak snel weg trekt. Dat geeft aanleiding om (te) snel te drinken.

Dutch Brewery Tasting @ Benzai’s. Bottle shared. Black with sweet roasted chocolate malts. Coffee bean, oak, peat. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Bottle had a slimy malty beersnail at the bottom.
