Can from Havnens Vin Og Toakhus. Pours muddy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is strong vanilla, milk, mango, and pineapple. Taste is very sweet, light bitter, and light to medium acidic. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of pineapple, mango, orange, milk, cream, and vanilla. Very much pineapple vanilla milk shake - not so much cheesecake.

Malmö March tasting at Palace Hall 21/03/2026 - mango and pineapple, banana, wow this is “thicccc” big dense thick mouthfeel, almost unmoving in the glass, sweet fruity finish.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 10%. Opaque orange colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour of orange zest and yellow stonefruits, particularly apricots. Rich and smooth mouthfeel. Very refreshing for its strength.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a hint of viscosity, reasonable fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a fairly forward creamy sweetness but it doesn't dominate. Cooling pine into alcoholic hops, a kinda semi ripe citrus vodka thing going on. Mild citrus peel bitterness and a touch of hop spice that fingers on. No alcohol heat. Not bad, just very obviously a 12% QIPA. Other breweries are hitting this level and even higher without making the alcohol obvious. Amusing all the same.
