Appearance: Foggy deep gold with a moderate dense creamy off-white head, that stays. Aroma: Herbs, pepper, pine needles, resin, grapefruit, lemon peel, pale malt. Taste: Light sweet, medium bitter. Grapefruit, melon, pine needles, resin. Lingering ending hop bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Interesting brew.

Tap. Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: pils malt, grain, green apple and grassy hops. Malty taste, biscuits, normal body, a touch of spicy grassy hops on the finish, normal helles.

Taste: Medium sweet, heavy bitter. Candied citrus fruits, walnut, wormwood, pine needles, resin. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: Pretty rough.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a large beige head of good retention. Aroma: Roasted barley, coffee, dark chocolate, distant cream. Taste: Medium dry, roasted. Coffee, dark chocolate, hop. Light bitter hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Light to medium body. Soft to average carbonation. Summary: Not a star. Just drinkable enough.
