On tap at Shinjuku Ale, pours a hazy bright orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is truly awful, with harsh pot-like notes without any restraint. Flavour is not quite as awful, bringing out restrained earthy pot notes and not much else. It's light enough but just not pleasant.

On tap at Shinjuku Ale, pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is very malty, with all sorts of orange rind, grapefruit hops, caramel malt, and some resinous notes. Flavour is very malty and rather harsh, with resinous, earthy hops, caramel malt, and some orangey notes. Harsh and unbalanced. Not great.

On tap at Shinjuku Ale, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a touch of roast and light earthiness. Flavour is quite toasted, with somewhat harsh roasted notes, and some burnt earthiness. Messy and clumsy but there are some decent flavours buried in here. Needs work.

On tap at Shinjuku Ale, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out light grass, straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is somehow juicy, with citrus juiciness, grass, and grainy biscuity malt. Nice clarity, well-hopped and unusually juicy for a pils. Off-kilter but interestingly done.
