On tap at Black Fleet, pours a deep dark red-tinged brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings a rather jagged hop profile — somewhat piney, somewhat sweaty, rather harsh — with a toasted malt base. Flavour is not all that well balanced, with toasted caramel malt, earthy hops, a little pine, and some cracked black pepper. Nice to see a black IPA on tap, but this is not all that well calibrated. It's alright but a little lacklustre in balance and structure.

On tap at Black Fleet, pours an amber-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is rather earthy and flat, with toasted malt and a hint of dry cocoa powder. Flavour reveals dry cocoa powder upfront, with a soft toasted malt base. Clean enough I guess but not much going on. Drinkable dry cocoa porter without any depth.

On tap at Black Fleet, pours a fairly clear dark amber red with a tiny white head. Aroma is fairly smoky, with gentle campfire smoke, light ash, and bready malt as a base. Flavour is much the same, with smoked meat, light campfire smoke, and a toasted bready caramel base. Fairly clean, nice smoke element, but nothing special.

On tap at Black Fleet, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals restrained tart cranberry notes and plenty of lacto underneath. Flavour is fucked up, with phenols galore destroying this whole thing — there's some faint cranberry underneath, but the phenols destroy this. Awful. This shouldn't be sold.

On tap at Black Fleet, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma doesn't seem all that vibrant or fresh, with gentle earthy hops, bready malt, not much else. Flavour seems a bit old — though the bartender told me this is still tasting fresh; yeah, OK — with bready malt and very restrained hops. They told me they did a massive batch of this during fresh hops season to see how long it'd last. I don't know what it tasted like fresh, but it doesn't taste very fresh now.

on tap pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice crisp hops citrus and a sweet oat grain note. Taste is more of the nice chewy oats and a enjoyable hop note.
