Description
We love beers with lots of great flavor and character. We strive to only create products that embody our passion for what we do. We may not be flashy stars of the beer world, much like we are not flashy on the ice, but we put in the work, and love, to create something that we feel will make the craft brew team (market/industry) just a little better.

On tap at 5th Line, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some earthiness, and a hint of cracked black pepper. Flavour is quite malty, with toasted malt, a hint of dry cocoa, and some earthiness. A bit dull and flat, but not too bad. There's no real depth or dynamism here. Boring but drinkable porter.

5.8
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle piney hops, some pot-like notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat earthy in the hop department, with gentle dankness, cardboardy biscuity malt, and muffled bready notes. Seems like a lot of crystal malt, or else something resembling it that creates this very dry, seltzery, cardboardy character. The hops aren't particularly bright, but do impart some residual bitterness. Not great, but not bad.

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very laid back, with soft raspberry skins and gentle lacto. Flavour is quite tart, with tart raspberries, soft wheaty notes, and a hint of lacto. Finishes tart, soft and wheaty. Nothing special but pleasant enough.

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear dark amber mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, a touch of caramel, and a hint of nuttiness. Flavour is odd, with some herbal notes, bready malt, and some toasted caramel. Not very rich or well-calibrated -- too herbal, lacking depth.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of fairly pungent jalapeno pepper, with very subdued lime. Flavour is not that spicy, featuring much more of the lime, surprisingly; the jalapeno is there, but in the background, without imparting much spice. Not very interesting.

On tap at 5th Line, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very mild, with straw and some biscuity malt. Flavour is very mild and clean, with not much going on other than a bit of straw. Clean and crushable but boring and useless, as Mexican lagers almost always are.
