Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and vanilla in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor with a hint of licorice, vanilla and maybe a hint of bourbon. Nice, but the barrel aging isn’t too obvious.

9th May 19. Tap at Arendsnest, 3rd Beer Trip to Amsterdam this year, 2nd CDA in Arendnest today, love a BIPA and this is good. Pours almost black, very dark brown. Aroma is malty, some citrus, very fresh. Taste is bitter cocoa and citrus, quite light refreshing and tasty and a good balance. Very nice

A 33 cl bottle tried in an interesting bar in in Arnhem while on holiday. Dark brown, almost black, I drink from the appropriate brewer’s glass, thank you so much. I get a taste of greenish coffee and light chocolate. Rather effervescent for a porter, it settles somewhat. Decent, glad to have the chance to try.
