Bottle at the Old Dears, from Callans, 09/07/17. Hazed orang ewith a decent egg shell white head that retains well. Nose carries plastic note, bitter orange, spice, sweet citric sherbets, toasted grains. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, a touch harsh on the bitter front, grassy, biscuit, light spice, lemon rind. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, light hops and astringent bitterness in the close. Not great, harsh and out of balance, plenty better home brew than this about !
