Sweet without being overwhelming or cloy; huge notes of sweet nectarine, orange juice, and a touch of melon, followed by a touch of tropical punch and lemon candy. Finishes with a lingering note of vanilla and a mild pine fade. Nice pint.

Not really sure what the hell this beer’s supposed to be. The board at the brewery calls it a Table Beer, but if so it’s got a massive ABV for the style. It’s got hints of sour, but not really, and an underlying fruitiness that’s not altogether pleasant. Sweet grain and a floral bitterness with a touch of Belgian yeast? Perplexing.

Nice Scotch ale, thick and malty with a formidable caramel and dried fruit front laced with tobacco and a touch of toast. Finishes with a firm bitterness and a lingering hint of roast. Tasty.

Odd; very boozy, even for 10.5%. Whiskey dominates the character, underlined by unsweetened chocolate and anise. Never quite comes together as an impy stout; almost tastes more like a stout/barleywine blend. Decent.

First weak beer I’ve had from DV; not that it’s bad, but “sweet” should never be the primary descriptor for imperial hazy IPA. Lactose dominates, though, not in a sickly, cloy way, but in that all you get from this pint is a ton of sweet vanilla laced with tropical and citrus notes. Not bad, just needs more juice.

Simple, but in a good way. Gentle grainy sweetness with a moderate lemongrass and tropical undertone, followed by a lengthy pine finish. Easygoing IPA.

Excellent oatmeal stout, creamy and rich, full of bakers chocolate, roast, cascara, and caramel, yet with a bracingly dry finish. Full-bodied but also restrained. Great pint.

Nice mix of piney bitterness, grapefruit, and papaya, with grainy sweetness underneath and a touch of resin in the fade. Solid IPA.
