Been dying to try this pounder can since I saw the label. My can says brewed in Memphis Tennessee, heheh. OK, so its an austrailian recipe but brewed in the good old trumpy usa. Bring those out of country jobs back to the old usa! USA USA USA! Big black ma fa can fer sure, 16 big ounces, yea! Well, from the can it does have a pretty good head, it better since it bears the name. Stronger in the taste compared to the typical pale lager and it seems like it taste more like a 6% ice brew. Good co2. AS the session continues, I do notice it is mild on the noggin. Not bad in the end. Perhaps not as refreshing as a good crisp cheap pale lager but OK.

Can (Tennessee). Pours with clear gold hue, retentive white head. Grainy and strongly appley, lightly musty, a bit grainy. Acetaldehyde bomb. Flavors are slightly acidic, appley, grainy, sulfury. Lively carb, medium dry. Not very good at all.

Big can thanks to the Utah crew. Pours out apple crisp golden topped with a small whit ring. Aroma of sweetness, corn flakes, and some grass. Tastes is the same as aroma sweetness, and light malts.

500 ml can. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A light nose of honey and grain. Clean, super smooth, earthy and very grainy. Pretty nice. Sweet. Very drinkable. Leaves your palate with some paper. Not bad at all.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/11/2010. Has a slight grassy, bready aroma. In the mouth you get a bit of malt and honeyed sweetness and a very gentle hop finish, with just a touch of alcohol at the back. Meh. A fairly bland premium lager.
