I got a 16 oz can at Total Wine the last time we were in DFW for a Texas Rangers baseball game. I have been to the brewery before, nice place, less thrilled with the beer. Let us see what they do with a hazy IPA. There is a globe glass in place and I make a pour. The body is a semi-transparent light gold with a small head of absolutely white foam. I get a scent of tropical fruit, no surprise, and sweet citrus. Right off, I will call this beer a truce between NE and WC styles and that is a good thing. I will also say it is tasty. Tangerines, grapefruit, a light hoppy bitterness, a bit of mangoes, white bread and also a small floral effect. Yes, you can call this a hazy IPA and I will say it is all right.

Found a 16 oz can at Total Wine in Ft Worth on Black Friday this year. I will commemorate this tasting with my Cowtown, a cross-town FW brewery, tulip glass. I see an unusual clear amber body with a moderate head of completely white foam. The nose is attractive, I can say, with hops, peaches and kiwi fruit. The drink is as good or better. Nectarines, honeydew, malt, paper, a bit of grapefruit, crackers and a small but obvious bitterness. Good enough, the sum is greater than the parts.

Sampled at the brewery on a cool, early winter evening. Served in a tulip glass, it arrived a darkish gold with practically no head but who cares on that. The taste was light lemon, grass, water and some hops effect. Just okay.
