Bottle @ Odense Tasting, July 2012. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Citrus and dishwasher. Grain and paper.

500ml bottle. Clear minimally reddish dark brown with average firm frothy good lacing beige head. Intense sweet dark malty aroma, candied sugar, minimal herbal note. Taste is sweet caramel malty, minimally toasty, very cautious hoppy counterweight. Prototypical Doppelbock, not top of the style but a representative containing all attributes.

Herber, gering würziger Beginn. Im Mittelteil ebbt die Herbe ab, die geringe Würzigkeit bleibt bestehen und bildet milde helle Malznoten. Süßer werdend, wässrig grasig. OK. 7/8/9/8/6/8

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average frothy white head. Fresh grainy aroma, bitter hop note. Taste is slightly sweet and slightly sourish grainy, a dry husk note in the finish.

Murky, dark orange colour. Rather small head for a weissbier. Aroma has stinging banana and hints of solvent. Flavour is sweet with somewhat ripe banana. Dry and yeasty finish. Decent.

500ml bottle [Holzhacker: 5,2%]. Cloudy dark golden colour with huge frothy stable white head. Spicy and yeasty aroma, a sour note. Taste is sourish, meaningless. Boring.

Bright orange colour, thin and disappearing head. Aroma has malt and some solvent. Flavour has malt, some glue and solvent. Not good.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, toasted, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120211]

50cl bottle, BBE 06/2012. Poured mahogany color with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is bready malty and roasty. Flavor is roasted malt, caramel and woody notes. More caramel in the finish. Light bitterness. Not a bad dunkel.
