Tap at Šťáhlavická pivoluce. Hazy golden body. Acetaldehyde and grainy, low hoppy notes in the aroma. Creamy, grainy, soft taste, light cardboard, light herbal, low herbal bitterness. Nicely drinkable, but not ideal.

Tap at Černá ruka. Hazy dark amber body, lasting, thick off-white head. Butter and caramel in the sweetish aroma. Creamy grainy, bit peachy, herbal, lightly soapy, bitterish taste - Paul even noted some light phenols. Flat too... I'd love to support breweries like this... but... how does one release a beer like this...

Tap at Prvni pivni maj. This one was one of the less good lagers, sadly too many off notes. Their other beers were better, so I would like to revisit this someday.

Tap at První Pivní Máj. Dark golden body, white head. Stale heavily buttery aroma. Grainy taste, bit buttery, somehow weirdly juicy, not much in terms of hops really. Nah, naah. Hoped for mor really.

Tap at 1. Pivni maj. Caramelly, but also bitter. A bit of earthy grassy hoppiness. Pretty well balanced, easy drinking. Good.

Tap at První Pivní Máj. Hazy coppery body. Creamy, malty, caramelly, bit worty and yeasty aroma. Creamy taste, caramelly, herbal, floral, ending dry and bitterish. Okay, shame about the aroma.

Tap at 1. Pivni maj. Almost black colour. A bit thin, watery, but otherwise fine. Both caramelly and roasty. Hops in the background. Drinkable, tasty, good.

Tap at První Pivní Máj, thx! Bit hazy very dark brown body, head almost gone by the time it got to me. Creamy, caramelly, bit roasty aroma. Creamy, sweetish taste. Coffee, loads of caramel, light dried fruit. Quite okay really!

(PET bottle 1l from U Martina (Brno)) Overall: Too much diacetyl and some DMS cover everything else. Aroma: Diacetyl, light DMS, light sweet malt. Appearance: Clear golden. Medium, white head. Taste: Medium sweet, diacetyl, malt, light DMS, light herbal hops. Palate: Medium body. Light bitter finish.

(PET bottle 1l from U Martina (Brno)) Overall: Good malty lager. Toasty-malty flavor reminds Vienna lagers. Aroma: Sweet malt, toasty. Appearance: Clear dark golden. Minimal, white head. Taste: Medium sweet, malt, toasty, light harsh, light bitter. Palate: Medium body. Astringent-bitter finish.
