Cask at Bhurtpore, Aston (Cheshire). The last cask of the last beer produced by the brewery ! Pours a very dark reddish brown with a medium sized beige head. Plums and malts in the aroma. A little bit watery in the mouth, but fruits are initially to the fore. Later on liquorice and aniseed some through. This is very nice indeed hides its strength well too.
