Big brutal and black, large and in charge, heheh. Nice lacing, can almost see thru it in a sexy kindah way. Volatile and strong yet smooth on the palate. Some hints of pepsin in there after a while. Gets better, grows on yah. Still, in the end it gets a little difficult, for we know its an impy stout, wew. On style mouthcoating effects in the end.

Sampled on nitro draft at the brewery this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and an enormous creamy beige head that lingered forever and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and was malty and bready. The flavor was sweet, toasty and bready with noted real pumpkin and squash notes and moderate notes of cinnamon and nutmeg and coffee at the very end. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Well done.

@ bocktown. Yes, coffee is the word of the day, especially sinday @10AM. Keggs & eggs they call it, heheh. Dark but not pitch. Well behaved I’d say. Does have a farmy attitude on top of a nicely roasted friendly dark beer attitude. Fairly flat. A good mild coffee beer that is not in yer face.
