On tap at the bocktown, nice place. Said it was an IPA but no way. No IPA aroma, actually no aroma at all. Quite mild for a supposedly hoppy beer. A little fruit comes thru, makes ti interesting. More than an IPA, but not as bitter. Yes, surprisingly well mannered. Not sure if they poured me the right beer, heheh. Does have abuilding bitter bite but its just normal friendly hops. Some co2 in the session.

Sampled on draft at the brewery taproom this beer poured a bright copper-amber color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with moderate fruity and perfumey hops and a bit of biscuit underneath. The flavor was tart, tangy and mildly bitter with a fairly strong fruity, floral and perfumey hop presence. Medium length fruity, floral and perfumey finish. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Solid.

On tap at the bocktown robinson, nice place. Clear lager looking thing. Just plain clean fresh beery aroma. Scummy head. Initially I think its fairly mild then some impressive medium alky begins to build during the session. Becomes slightly medicinal. Seems to be stronger now, stronger than yer typical lager. Finish is medium medicinal linger.

IF you like IPA, gotta try this. Me, I’m a lager lover so I was not impressed. THis is with any IPA, just don’t like the taste, but it was there on tap at Bocktown so I tried it. Must say, it is terribly on style. Cloudy light brown pour. Fruity mild aroma, barely any hint that it is IPA onthe olfactory. Not as strong as I thot it would be. But it does provide a big bitter astringent ipa linger after each swig. Not as viscous as I thot it would be. Yes, a nasty astringent back of the thoat kick that most lager lovers would not tolerate. Some leather in there in the background during the middle. Ignore my numbers, I rate from a mild beer lovers point of view.

Nicew big bubbly pour for a lager. A little darker than yer typpy pale lager. Good fresh beery aroma. First taste is a little more dull than expected but never the less it is a well behave beer. Never lets you stop thinkin its a beer. Not offensive, very gentle manners. Over all a well behaved beer. Goes down pretty easy. No ill effects. Overall friendly beer experience. On tap at the bocktown.
