Another one for the Turkish market, in a 500ml can. Found in Tire, Izmir province. Gold with no head and low visible carbonation. The aroma is a bit maltier than the basic Diabrau. The body has some bitterness, with a light fruity character and more full malts. Decent, the body helps, but the fruitiness is a bit strange.

Found at Dia supermarket in Tire, Turkey. Here the basic Dia is 4.2% and comes in bottles. Pale gold. Grassy hop nose. Grassy hop on the palate, though without much bitterness. Very mild malts. Finishes grassy, though clean and drinkable.

Can, as Diabräu 1516, 4.7% abv, bought at a Dia supermarket in Istanbul. Obviously made for the Dia chain in the southern part of Europe. Collapsing white head over a straw coloured body. Mild aroma of grass and pale malts. Mild late fruits mixed with corn. Thin bodied. Rather vapid mouthfeeling (19.07.2009).
