Description

Karin van Veen kwam in 2001 tijdens een reis naar Nieuw Zeeland in aanraking met hop en bier. Haar broer heeft een bierbrouwerij in Amerongen, dus ze kent het bierbrouwen van nabij. Het werd haar hobby. Tot een jaar geleden. Toen wilde ze zelf professioneel aan de slag, maar wel kleinschalig, ambachtelijk.

Fles 33cl thuis. Beetje rood fruit, fruitig, honingzoeten, orange peel, citroenschil, licht yeasty, beetje bubblegum. (4-5-2022).

Bruin bier zonder enig schuim. Smaak is licht fris fruitig zuur en licht bitter met iets van honing en wat sinaasappel. Is niet geweldig dit bier. Ook jammer dat het bier zo dood als een pier is.

Bruin bier met weinig schuim (wat raar is voor een weizen). Smaak is echter wel OK, met iets van sinaasappel, ver weg iets van banaan en een vleug honing. Best een goed bier meer noem het a.u.b geen weizen.

Lichtbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van sinaasappel, wat honing en kruidnagel.

Oranjegeel bier met heel veel schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig met iets van sinaasappel wat abrikoos en bloemen. Gewoon een fijn biertje.

Bottle. Orange color. Orange zest and a hint of coreander in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with floral notes, marmelade and coreander.

Bottle. Light amber color. Malt, dried citrus and honey in the aroma. Malty sweet, almost candyish flavor with dried citrus and honey. Hint of toffee. Soft yeasty notes in the finish. Low on carbon. OK.

Malt and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Malty sweetish, floral perfumed honeyish flavor with orange peel. Not abundant with flavors and aromas, but pleasant enough.

Bottle. Pinkish red color. Raspberry jam in the aroma. Bitter floral flavor. Sweet with raspberry jam. Some tart notes. Nice effort, but not totally succeeded.
