Made with champagne yeast as I’m told here at bibliotheka Vilnius. Gives it a fruity dry wine-like flavour. But it is clean and quite tasty, unique and drinkable.

How to get 200ml sample? Lithuanian logic is to fill 1L plastic bottle with beer, then pour 400ml to glass and throw rest to sink. Baffled. Beer itself is sweet mix of lager and champagne yeast, dry mouthfeel.

Dark brown, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, vanilla, pie crust, a little coconut. Taste: sweet, caramel, pie crust, dried with vanilla, a little coconut, a little cream and chocolate.

Bottle from Dziugas cheese Shop in Vilnius. Pairing with Lithuania specialities (kindzik, Skilandline from norvelina). Sietnie smakowalo, goryczkowe, wyraznie chmielne zywiczne, klarowna barwa, piana srednia lecz niestety nie trwala.

Appearance: slightly misted bright gold with a moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: floral hop, grain, distant, catty and fruity notes. Taste: light sweet, malty, floral, slightly fruity, hoppy. Light to medium grapefruit bitterness. Palate: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: an interesting style interpretation. Rather well tasting.
