Bottle split at LKS ’Beers of London’ Tasting, high up thanks to Kenny 10/12/14. Chestnut brown with beige edgeing. Nose is toffee, spice, bread tones, dried berry fruit. Taste comprises caramel, vanilla, earthy, dark toffee, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Basic but drinkable.

At a tasting, thanks Stas, smallish head, hazy brown color, with lots of red hues, sweet feeling caramel aroma with some dried fruits, overpowering flavor of caramel with some glue and cakey maltiness in the back. Much too sweet and much too old.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Slightly hazy deep red with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits and malt. Sweet malty flavor with caramel, dark fruits, a spicy note and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied.

Hazy pale yellow. Moderate white head. Aroma of wheat, spice, citrus. Light to medium body. Thin texture. Sweet spicy taste. Spice at ending. Refreshing but not impressive.

At a tasting, htanks Stas, smallish head, light hazy rusty orange color, aroma of caramel and nuts with some bread, caramel and fudge flavor with a hint of vanila, quite sweet with no bitterness. Bland and not good.

at a tasting, thanks stas, small stable creamy head, extremely pale orange color, aroma of ginger and cardamom flavor of fruit and citrus with light bead and some touches of spiciness, light pleasant bitterness and a light sour touch. Interesting and original take on a classic style, quite goof.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas. Hazy amber with almost no head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light fruitiness and a bit of cardboard. Sweetish flavor, malty, caramelly, slightly toasty, with light fruitiness and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied, kinda flat and watery. Drinkable but pretty lifeless.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Stas. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Slightly soapy aroma with cardamom, wheat, coriander and citrus peels. Flavor has light sweetness, wheat, yeast, cardamom, coriander and citrus. Finishes spicy. Light to medium-bodied, lively carbonation. Pretty easy-drinking.
