On tap at Brothers Beer. The watermelon just takes over everything, which is kind of nice, but a whole pint gets pretty sickly. A fun (summer) Christmas beer, but there’s just so much melon.

On tap at Brothers, August 2014. Golden with a small white head. A typical Lager with bread, hay and some citrus. The finish was quite dry and with some bitterness. An ok one.

On tap at the Brewery, August 2014. A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Quite soft with bubblegum, grapefruit and hay. Not that bitter. An ok one.

Draft at the Glass Box, at 7 am on the day of mynarrival to New Zealand, expertly served by Rob, thanks! Completely black color, brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dark bittersweet cocoa. Taste is burnt espresso, bitter chocolate, pine resin. Delicious.

Draft at the source. Hazy variegated golden brown color, whitebhead, solid lacing. Aroma is fruity grass, caramel. Taste is bitter fruit, caramel. Bitter but balanced.
