Bottled. Cloudy amber, no head. Aroma of lingonberries and toffee. Full bodied with soft, creamy mouthfeel, notes of melon and plenty of cointreau and warming alcohol. Rum-like finish. A complex and wonderful beer in it’s very own style.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy brownish amber, no head. Strong spicy aroma - I get cinnamon and ginger. Light bodied and medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. It is rather fruity and has some late herbal bitterness. An interesting beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Near black, beige head. Very roasty with plenty of licorice. It’s really salty with rounded mouthfeel and tarry finish. When it warms chocolate comes out, and this certainly improves the flavour profile.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden, small head. Citric hop aroma. Medium dry with rounded, gentle mouthfeel. Rather well hopped - perfumy and citric, with well balanced bitterness. A charming, well made lager.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy dark brown, small head. Fairly sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Roasty and nutty, no yeast or wheat malt character, flavourwise it is more reminiscent of a brown ale. Light to medium bodied with low bitterness.
