Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts fine malty, spicy, shy herbal notes. Mild sourish touch. Finish with hoppy background, some soapy notes. Not bad.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, flowery-hoppy notes, grasy-hoppy background. Mild sweetness. Finish well balanced, mild-sweetish-hoppy. Not bad.

bottle from La Bannière de France, Laon (Aisne, Picardie). Dark red-brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of cherries. Malty with roasty flavours and pleasant, not sweet, cherry flavours. The cherry underlines the roasty-chocolatey flavours very well, perfectly balanced fruit beer.

bottle from the restaurant at Hôtel de la Bannière de France in Laon (Aisne). Hazy pale yellow with a rosé touch, tall white head. Wheat and slightly yeasty with detectable and pleasant floral notes of rose. Very pleasant on a hot summer day.
