Dees Brothers Brewery is the product of a passion for brewing great beer. What started as a humble homebrew project in our garage eventually shifted to a full-operation local brew and lounge in Historic Sanford.
Solid imperial stout. Big roast, big coffee, dark chocolate. A bitter kick in the ass like most of their stuff. These guys knjow their old school proper bitter. A hint of tangerine, which is a little odd, peel. Gives it a touch of acidity. Black pour with decent head. Tap at brewery.
Roast and coffee. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter end. Pretty good milk stout, solid body. Light lactose. Some dark chocolate. Tap at brewery.
This is better than the Doe Lake, a little more personality. But maybe a little buttery, which throws me off a bit. Pine, some sharp passionfruit, grapefruit. Very bitter. Pours clear golden with decent head and lacing. Good body. Tap at brewery.
Pours hazy orange with good head and lacing. Mostly just piney. Finishes bitter. Big malt. No fault, but hops character is just barky bitter, old school. Tap at brewery.
Quite a nice Scotch ale. Some scottish heather, a little oakiness. Some swamp flower. Pours dark brown with OK head and lacing. Finishes with some sweetness, some florals. Tap at brewery.
Florals and raisins. Pours clear brown without much head. Some sweet tobacco. Light sweet finish with a hint of tangerine. Sweet potato. Pleasant quad. Tap at brewery. 78787 3.8
