Taster pour from a magnum at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It’s an opaque, inky black with nice viscosity, no head nor sparkle. Aroma is strong mix of sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon(?). Taste is like a Mexican stout—chocolate, vanilla, strong sweet malt, cinnamon. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not sure how/why I was getting a bit of cinnamon--confused with the rye?--but didn't appreciate any barreling. Even so, pretty good.

Taster pour on tap at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It's an opaque black with nice viscosity, no head and no lacing. Aroma is really nice roasted peanuts, chocolate, vanilla, sweet malt. Taste has peanuts with a slightly metallic quality--not as enjoyable as aroma--with vanilla, chocolate, sweet malts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not getting the maple or coconut so this could have been so much more.

Taster pour on tap at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It's an opaque black with nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is really strong charred malt/bitter roasted coffee just on the right side of the border of cigarette, with coconut and chocolate. Taste is really decadent strong sweet malt, coconut, chocolate. Charred quality of malt/coffee is much more muted and is a welcome balance. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick texture, no sign of alcohol, smooth soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pushes the boundaries of charred coffee and malt but just stays in bounds. Can't say I noticed the maple.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is peanuts, cocoa, roast, marshmallow powder. Slick body, peanut butter, cocoa, marshmallow, nice sweetness, light dry finish, very nice.

Bottle pour at Pontoon Brownie Bash 2021. Brown with small brownish head. Huge chocolate, dense thick caramel, dried fruit, vanilla, bourbon, maple. Sweet and thick. Full bodied. Crazy good.
