Taster pour from a magnum at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It’s an opaque, inky black with nice viscosity, no head nor sparkle. Aroma is strong mix of sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon(?). Taste is like a Mexican stout—chocolate, vanilla, strong sweet malt, cinnamon. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with smooth texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not sure how/why I was getting a bit of cinnamon--confused with the rye?--but didn't appreciate any barreling. Even so, pretty good.
