Draft pour pint at Three Bull, Snohomish. Pale golden appearance, lasting foam ring head. Really refreshing brew. A touch soapy like. But I feel that way about all coconut non dark beers. Easy drinking with a long lingering coconut adjunct that is constant but fails to completely overpower. Fun and tasty.

Draft pour at Three Bull, Snohomish. Bright golden appearance. Gentle haze, active foam head. Intriguing brew with basically no bitterness, but flavor brings out a touch of it with some citrus peel. Juicy tropical fruit rounds out the flavor. Semi sweet and cool. Masks just about wvery hop character, but its a good guava taste, and remains less than so overpowering that i can't find the base beer. Juicy, fruity finish. Can't believe this ticks over imperial status. Very juicy and easy drinking. Fun brew. If only the record store next door that this is named after was open on a Wednesday. This brew would be paired with some new listening material.

Draft 5 oz pour at Three Bull, Snohomish. I've seen a few of these barrel aged imperial IPAs around, and I'm always intrigued, but also skeptical. Cloudy burnt orange pour. Rocky head. Rich oak, apple, whiskey nose. Flavor is whiskey heavy with dry oak,but not hot tasting with its heavy abv. Surprisingly smooth tasting. Left unrecognizable as an imperial IPA and comes off simply as a strong or old ale. Fun and solid tasting brew, but tough to justify the dollar an ounce price point for this. Enjoyed this for sure.

Draft pour pint at Three Bull, Snohomish. Clean copper red pour, patchy head. Sturdy malt nose, bready. Crisp first sip, bold bready and earthy grains. A decent amount of pine like bitterness here as well for balance. Potent palate. This drinks bigger than it indicates. Spicy malt follow. Red Ales have a ceiling. They are either okay or good. This one is good.

Draft pour pint at Three Bull, Snohomish. First visit! Mostly clean golden appearance. Thin active head. Love the pepper flavor here, though could always enjoy a little more heat. Green pepper front. Crisp finish with a short to moderate heat. Excellent, fun brew here. Right up my alley.

On tap at the Keg n Cue. Pours quite clean and clear golden for a hazy. Lasting foam head. A bit of a master of disguise. Very juicy mouthfeel, thicker body, melon like fruit. Flavorful hazy with a cool finish.

Draft pour to a tulip, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. Clean copper orange pour, thin fizz head. Bold hop aromas, bitter constant up front flavor with a hint of orange fruit. A more aggressive IPA, which works nicely here. Flavorful. Lingering bitter peel hop finish. Solid brew.

Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. Last few rates of 2018, and enjoying some new locals that I'll hopefully be seeing lots more of in the coming year. Barely a cloudy appearance, darker golden orange. Aroma is dominated by jammy mixed berries. Taste is pretty heavy with the blackberry as well, and seems to have overpowered and abandoned the IPA style. A nice blackberry taste however. It is what they say it is. Malt is a bit rich, caramel, a little butterscotch like note. Berry continues to cover. Not perfect, but not bad.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Hop and Hound. Adding this under my ivestillnevertriedasmore tag. A muddy cola brown pour, thin quick fading head. Aroma is much more peanut butter like than anything else. Cocoa. Flavor is similar. Peanut butter taste up front, but the linger is more on the sweet cream, vanilla, marshmallow like flavor. Definitely a dessert brew, and a well made one. The sweetness here certainly lying doesnt bother me. I feel like no sweetness would be weird here. Impressed with this brew. Hope to get a chance to visit these guys at their taproom someday soon.
