Draft pour enjoyed at Maeltrom, Kirkland. A dark but clean dark brown pour with a quick fading head. Lots of whiskey notes throughout here. An odd sweet note to it, that I can call cherry, but its probably not supposed to be there. Doughy .are, cocoa, oak and plenty of dry whiskey linger. The odd sweet note throws it off for me, but there are unique and solid qualities to this. Interesting. Not bad.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Maelstrom, Kirkland. Jet black appearance, patchy foam head. Toast malts, cool and rich chocolate background. Flavorful lager for sure. Bold taste, a nut of a nutty grain as it lingers. Smooth taste overall. Solid Schwarz here

Draft 13 oz pour enjoyed at Maelstrom, Kirkland. Peach orange color, dense with haze, juicy appearance, thin fizz head. Aroma doesnt scream the pineapple addition, but more a dank hop presence. Flavor agrees. Pineapple is more hinted, and not overdone, which is totally fine with this less than pineapple superfan. I'll happily watch the base beer shine on it's own. Juicy constant, a bit on the sweet side. Tropical fruit is everywhere. Melon joins in. Very flavorful. Very fruity. Ripe in that category. A pretty good flavored hazy here.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. Clean, shiny, bright golden pour. A completely absent aroma. Flavor is clean. Not a whole lot going on with it. Nothing offensive is the plus side to that. Pretty watery and plain. On a hot summer day after a long run, I could drink this by the keg full. Drinks that easy. Refreshing. I guess they nailed it as far as those categories go.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. Probably the only beer I've had from these guys that's not clean and clear. A hazy peach, reddish color. Fresh raspberry nose. Flavor is a total raspberry jam covered toast. Jammy mixed berry, with an obvious raspberry headliner. I love raspberries. Any other berry or fruit, and I'd think less of this. Pretty good unique offering from these guys.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. A light, shiny, clear golden pour. Soft, near absent aroma. A little fruity. Some grain. A decently flavorful blonde here. Definitely not boring. Soft fruit edge. Some grassyness. I like it a little better than their lighter golden.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. Tired the grapefruit version, and had slight doubts about the base beer, but I think I was wrong. Cool and refreshing. It actually has a slight hint of grapefruit as it is. Clean golden pour. Slightly sweet. Has a hinted ripe banana flavor lingering in the background that I thought wss a little weird. Not a bad golden.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. I remember trying this in opening weekend, listed simply as Pale Ale. My very simplistic notes suggested maybe this pale was an English Pale. I guess I was right! That makes it about 3% of the time...? I'll take it. Clean, golden orange pour. Ton of foam head that lasts. Hop forward aroma, but very light. Flavor is a dusty malt, bready. Semi bitter hop impressions follow. Cool and refreshing. I enjoy this version more so than the west coast, much to my surprise. Great flavor. Solid pale here.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. Clean, bright golden pour. Foam ring head. Straw like grains, floral and banana secondary on the aroma. Flavor is a little sweet. Bubblegum over grain. Soft floral, and soda carb. Hard for me to get into the style, but this one isn't bad.

Draft pour at Maelstrom. A clean, clear, slightly darker golden pour. Patchy foam head. Toms of foam lacing. Rich caramel malts, and just surprisingly sweet overall. The precise caramel flavor lingers on and on. A little lopsided to the malt side, but I happen to really like this malt bill. The hop bitterness is a late arrival, and lingers. Interesting. It got better as it went.
