Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has roast and slightly bitter chocolate with dark grains and a bit of coffee supporting. Flavor has dark grains and a bit of chocolate with just a hint of roast in the finish.

On tap at the Paddle Hard Yard. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has pine and sweet grains with bread and a hint of wet grass backing. Flavor has a good amount of bread and sweet grains with some pine and earthy grass coming through.

On tap at the Paddle Hard Yard. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light bread and grains with growing straw and a hint of leaves underlying. Flavor combines straw and slightly sweet grains with a bit of bread coming through.
