Pours a deep brown with a small off white head. It smells of toasted caramel malt. The flavor is sweet and malty. Toasted caramel/toffee. Maybe a touch nutty. Medium body.

quart crowler. Clear gold pour with a smallish white head that has fair retention. The aroma is quite distinct with oranges and other mixed citrus. The taste was grapefruit, pine and a bit of bitter papaya. The palate was thin bordering on watery, carbonation was nearly flat. Finished short and dry with a trace lingering pine. Overall: meh. This is rather odd-- I love visiting this brewery, the beers on tap are great, the food there is especially good(best pizza in county). But, their canned stiff just does not cut it for me. .
