(This was canned in front of me at the bar direct from the tap, so I think it counts as from the tap). Pours black with thin tame head. Pleasant subtle dark roast malt aroma with chocolate notes. Light body, rather fizzy. Taste is a little odd as it has a slight sourness to it, that whilst not unpleasant is odd for the style. Other than this there’s roast nuts and chocolate hints. No bitterness. Quite drinkable, but a little on the sharp side (as the bar staff noted, this batch was uncharacteristically so).

(On tap) Clear amber with big white head. Subtle malt and floral aroma. Nice palate - medium body with lovely soft carbonation. Pleasantly sour - rather unusual for the style but worked nicely. Gentle malt sweetness. No bitterness.

(On tap) Hazy straw with a big white head. Subtle citrus aroma. Light body, well carbonated if a little fizzy. Flavour has a nice subtle citrus tang over gentle biscuit malt with nice modest bitterness finish. Good IPA, if understated.
