Bottle. Cloudy orange, golden head. Citric and applelike aromatics, honeyish malt notes, good floral hop wallop. Medium body, chewy, mellow mouthfeel. Comes together in the end quite nicely, maye a tad too floral for my taste.

Bottle. Browmn with a very nice red shine, creamy cappucino lace. Strong licorice and herb aroma. Fairly sweet sugary entry, caramel, fennel, in general strong spices - kongen af danmarks dråber. Slightly lightbodied, mellow mouthfeel, dry finish. Loved the aroma, flavourwise it seems a little muddled - pushing some of that sweetness into the back would help I think.

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours almost opaque black with some red glints. The nose has salty liquorice. The taste has more of the liquorice, this time sweet, some toffee and malt notes in the background. The palate is medium bodied and palate with a fairly elegant finish. Overall, a bit one-dimensional.

50cl bottle. Pours a bright honey with a nice foamy head. The nose has resin, perhaps honey. The taste has a bitter unripe nut thing, then honey around it. The palate is medium bodied with a similar texture and a finish that is a little cloying, though it does grow. Interesting, but slightly imbalanced.

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. Pours golden with very gentle bubbles and a little bit of lace. The nose has metallic and herbaceous aromas, maybe lemon thyme. The taste has some of the birch sweetness, some cornflake notes and then it’s into the herby lemon finish. The palate has a light to medium body and a decent texture with a clean finish.
