Bottled 500ml (from Kastrup Fine Foods, BB 04/2014)
Dark brown color, small steady beige head, some lace. Very strong anise and licorice in the aroma, funny that so few raters have picked this dominant star anise aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramelly, a bit harsh, licorice, especially aftertaste has lots of "lakrids". Less anise in the flavor than in the nose. "Real licorice", spices and sweetness are not working so well together.
