Bottle. There is a real disconnect between the appearance and flavour here. Much darker in colour than flavour. Still has hints of caramel but well-hopped also. I should ahve gone back for another of these.

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 28 March 2008) Pale yellow colour with green hints, cloudy. White head. Faint, malty nose with notes of wheat-flour dough and lemon. Light, malty taste with citrus, wheat and coriander. Lots of carbonation makes it quite prickly. Fairly dry, fairly thin. Doesn’t leave much of an impression.

Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. A clear, golden to copper beer with a beige head. Slightly sourish nose with caramel and a little fruityness. Quite sweet flavor, caramel and fruityness and the same sourish touch found in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel. The sourness goes all the way into the finish, and makes me wonder if it was infected. Drinkable though. (080229)
