Growler 100 cl Courtesy of joergen. Clear, dark amber with a small, creamy head. Lightly sweetish, caramelish aroma. Flavour of roasted malt and caramel and some verry odd off-notes of disinfectants or detergents. Hoppy, dry finish with a touch of sulphur. Not overly pleasant. 271105

A clear red beer with a small dense brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy combined with something I don’t like - a little like plastic mixed with brewmash, but also positive notes of nuts and celery. The flavor is sweet with strong plastic and diacethyl notes - something must have gone wrong - but I don’t know what. But there are also some positive notes in the flavor: nuts and mollasses, that together with the well hidden alcohol gives it a full palate. I sure hope they soon start brewing better than they’ve done so far.

(On tap) Completely pitch black and opaque with a handsome, dense, light brown nitrogen head. Rather odd medicinal, licorice aroma. Licorice root is added. Very burned flavour and again licorice, a LOT of licorice. Dry bitter finish. Do you really add licorice to an oatmeal stout? Well, points for trying out new ways. 120705

(On tap) Fully golden, basically no head. Light fruity, citrusy aromas. Also fruit in the flavour and some odd citrusy wheat esters. Actually this "pilsner" completely resembles a German Kristall wheat beer. Not bad at all, just very odd. Light bitter finish. Has birch sap added! 120705

(On tap) Very dark amber colour, filtered, with a small, neat beige head. Light aroma of caramel. Distinct notes of roasted malt and caramel in the flavour. Presumably brewed with beech chips added to the kettle! Weak notes of something resinous - from the chips? And a touch of smoke. Very dry with quite a bitter finish. 120705

(On tap) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, not much head. Very pronounced bitterness, hops adding more bitterness than aroma. Too one-dimensional, room for development and improvement. 110405

(On tap) Golden and hazy, not much head. Very distinct notes of wheat and yeast and some fine fruit esters. A surprising bitterness. But a fairly decent German (I think) inspired wheat beer. 110405

A red-brown beer with a small light brown head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy - and very fresh. The flavor is sweet and hoppy combined with slight roasted toffee notes, leading to a dry hoppy end. The mouthfeel is very carbonized and dry. It is served way too cold, which is a shame. It reminds me more of a brown ale with extra hops - though not enough to be an American brown ale.
