Sampled bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. Golden colour. Moderate fruity hops in the aroma. The flavour has some hoppy bitterness, but not the complexity you expect when 5 different hops have been used.

Hazy amber color. The smokeyness in the aroma reminds me more a breakfast with toasted bread than an open fire. The body is medium-light but a bit oily; there is some caramel flavor (it would not be anyway a great beer) with a pleasant smokey touch. Controversial.

500ml bottle purchased at Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Pours a huge and appealing red-brown body under a beige foam, slowly fading. Dark fruits notes in a rather careful aroma. The flavour contains a dash of sweet fruits and berries. Ends with a peppery bitterness and a touch of yeast. Lively natural carbonation (02.08.2007).
