Taster at the taproom. Pours black, with a big, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is bitter chocolate, burnt toast, dirt, rye, and resin. The flavor is very bitter and harsh. Medium to heavy body, with a sharp, grainy, and hard mouthfeel. This is an assertive and flavorful porter, but not really pleasant.

Taster at the taproom. Pours a bright, hazy orange color, with a big, foamy, white head. Distinct jelly bean sugar nose, with some earth, grapefruit, and light berry. Fairly dry, with a sugary finish. Medium to heavy body, with a grainy, syrupy, and thick mouthfeel. This is a fun and interesting beer, but not something I'd want a lot of. Surprisingly hard and dry, given the obvious sugar additions.

Taster at the brewery tap room. Pours a clear, dark gold color, with a medium, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is dry leather, honey, asian pear, white pepper, and tangerines. Sweet and lightly tart. Medium body, with a sharp, lightly acidic, and hard palate. This is a nicely done sour, without too much fruity sweetness.

On tap in a flight at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow color, with a small, fine, off-white head. Smells very lemony, with some notes of dry grass, leather, and mango. Relatively dry, with a sharp bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, grainy, and pulpy feel. This is a sharp, aromatic, and very bitter IPA. Not as hazy or juicy as I'd like.

On tap at the brewery taproom. Pours black, with a small, tan head. Smells just like an oatmeal raisin cookie! Some hints of black pepper, pine, and licorice. Sweet, with a sharp, roasted bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a grainy, sharp, and acidic palate. This is a fun beer, with great aromatics. A bit harsh on the finish, but still quality.
