Taster at the Empire location. Pours a clear, gold color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is tangerine, grapefruit peel, rosemary, straw, and rye. Sweet and malty, with a mild, bright bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, and a bit astringent. Solid.

Taster at the Empire location. Pours a dark, clear, ruby color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is mahogany, black cherry, peat, black pepper, sage, and caraway. Sweet and sugary, with a mild, sticky bitterness. Nice, earthy, and bold.

Taster at the Guanella Pass location in Empire. Pours a clear, straw color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is pine, vanilla, wet grass, light lime zest, and earth. Dry and musty, with a mellow, dank bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, and hard. Fun and harsh.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy milky rind with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet citrus and light mango with a touch of rind underlying. Flavor has bitter and slightly dank citrus with a bit of sweet grains backing.
