Description
The story of Cervecería Bichola is a journey full of passion, dedication, and the burning desire to capture the essence of Mazatlán in every sip. Founded by master brewer Juan José Arellano Hernandez, this dream came to life in 2016 with the clear purpose of reflecting the spirit, culture, and beauty of this city in a collection of craft beers. It was in 2020 when the emblematic Bichola, originally conceived as a Pale Ale, saw the light, inspired by the legendary Mazatlán sunsets with vibrant colors. With its flavor that evokes the freshness of the sea and its ability to delight the most demanding palates, Bichola has risen as an iconic beer throughout Mexico.

On tap at Doble Malta, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted malt upfront, with earthy hops and a touch of dry coffee grounds. Flavour is balanced, with a toasted malt, a touch of roast, and bitter earthy hops. Good use more hops and malt, but the balance is there, and the lingering bitterness rings true to style. Good.
