Illegibly-dated can drunk 1/3/25.
Good clarity. Bronze-copper body with a rapidly-fizzling, off-white head.
Really interesting nose with a lot of the adjunct showing, though none of it is aggressive or dominant. The nutmeg is certainly strong and the coconut is certainly there, but there's a soft oakiness that pervades, as well as rich biscuit and honey-like malt that keeps everything mostly in check.
Soft fruit juice with a spicy nutmeg backdrop and a bit of tartness from mixed culture. Rich malts, well-attenuated, showing graham cracker, honey, biscuit, white bread...coconut is tasteful and fruity with a bit of nuttiness. I'm sure this will improve with time and there's just a HINT of punchy acidity on the finish yet. But well-done and still showing the foudre-aging already with its relative mellowness and homogeneousness.

Pours a pale, peach-gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma is saison-spice, some citrus, hops. Flavors follow. Fairly clean, crisp mouthfeel. Very bitter, with some hoppiness through the finish. Not sure I really like this very much. Tastes more like a saison than an IPA.

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly hazy pale copper colored beer with a small white head. The aroma is funky and lightly vinegary, with a touch of pale malts. Lightly bready. It's tart and medium bodied, softly carbonated, with a mostly fruity flavor. Vinegar, bread, generic fruityness and some toffee. Medium length finish. Nice, but a bit too much vinegar going on for me. 241231

12 oz. can from H.E.B. Plus, Boerne, TX. Pours a semi-clear yellow color with a white head and very good retention. Very good lacing too. Pilsner malt aroma dominates. The taste follows the nose, with sharp pilsner malt flavor leading the way with moderate bitterness and a dry finish. Clean, crisp, and smooth. Good example of the style. Would be better on a hot day. Medium body and medium carbonation.
