Clear orange-amber color, few carbonation bubbles. From - pint Taste - bitter, hops, malt. Bitter and hoppy aftertaste. Not aggressive by any means, but still quite hoppy. Nothing special, will not buy again.

Pours near black with a small, bubbly beige head, and a subtle aroma of sweet, bready malt and caramel. Smooth and easy drinking, a little thin, with a sweet, roasted malt flavour, some hints of coffee and chocolate, and a dry mildly bitter finish.

Bottle from Beer52. An unusual ruby-chestnut in colour with a thin beige head and a light fizz. Chocolate and blackcurrant with a little tartness and some butterscotch instant whip. Not what I expected from a dunkel; it's quite interesting but I'm not 100% convinced it works. Pleasant enough to drink though.
